2. Paging inputs. The audio entertainment distribution system shall accept a minimum of two paging inputs provided in a standard EIA SE-104 line-level format.
3. Switching. The system shall include switching that makes all audio input programming selectable available at each output channel. The capability to provide the same output simultaneously over both the left and right channels from a single monaural program source shall be provided.
4. Audio program outputs. The audio entertainment distribution system shall provide the number of stereo (i.e., two-channel) outputs specified in the contract or order. The outputs shall be provided in a standard EIA SE-104 70 V line-level format.
5. Power output. Minimum power output shall be at least 150 Watts rms per channel.
6. Frequency response. Frequency response shall be from 50 Hz to 12 KHz at ±3 dB, or better.
7. Total harmonic distortion. Total harmonic distortion shall be less than two percent.
8. Regulation. Variations between full load and no load shall not cause the output voltage to vary by more than ± 3 dB at any frequency from 50 Hz to 12 KHz.
9. Signal-to-noise ratio. The signal-to-noise ratio of the system, from inputs to listening station outputs, shall be at least 60 dB.
10. Crosstalk. The crosstalk suppression between any two channels in the system shall at least 60 dB.
11 Dynamic range. The dynamic range of the system shall be at least 60 dB.
12. Tone controls. The system shall include separate bass and treble tone controls for each output channel. Bass control range shall be at least ± 12 dB at 100 Hz, and treble control range shall be at least ± dB at 7.5 KHz with respect to a nominal 1000 Hz reference frequency.
13. Volume controls. The system shall include a separate volume control for each channel. Volume control range shall be from 0 percent to 100 percent of maximum output.
14. Keyed muting control. The system shall include a keyed muting control that enables the simultaneous muting of all output channels. The systems shall accept a switch-closure discrete signal as the muting key. A muting indicator light shall be provided on the front panel of the equipment
